We started the process with only an idea of what we wanted and you carefully listened and clearly heard what we were saying - you took time to acquaint yourself with our lifestyle and personal taste to customize our kitchen (probably the most important room in our house) and create a space where people love to be. Above all we love to cook and entertain and this kitchen is beautiful, functional and welcoming to one and all. You added touches that I wouldn't have thought of and respected budgetary constraints in the process.

Artisan Kitchens remodeled our 20-year-old kitchen, and we are delighted with the results. The bright blue countertops (Zodiac) are even nicer than we had imagined, and the gorgeous oak cabinets (by Crystal) are of the highest quality. It all fits our house and our style perfectly. Our remodel was a very small one by most folks' standards, but the size of the job had no effect on the level of attention and service that we received from Monte, Tina, and their people. Buying a new kitchen is not my idea of a Marital Bliss Lesson 101.

My husband and I had discussed remodeling our 1950s kitchen several times over the past ten years, but his design thoughts just didn't mesh with mine.

I wanted bright, cheerful. He wanted cheap. Well, to be fair, he just didn't want to spend too much of his hard earned money.

I wanted classy, understated and functional. He wanted the remodeling to be over fast. And not cost too much money.

I wanted my dream kitchen. Hubby wanted to choose cabinets and get on with it.

Enter Artisan Custom Kitchens - marriage counselor extraordinaire.

I want to thank you for all of your efforts on designing and installing my kitchen. The results far exceeded my expectations, and I also ended up with a beautiful “designer” kitchen.

What sets you apart from other kitchen designers is your seasoned experience. Everything you put in the plan was logical and had a purpose for being there. Your advice on cabinet and appliance selection was invaluable. I had spoken and interviewed several designers associated with cabinet stores and appliance stores, as well as independent interior designers and contractors, but none gave me the confidence that I would end up with both a functional and beautiful kitchen.

When I discussed my interests and concerns with you, I suspected that you would fit the bill. I compiled my wish list. I wanted a kitchen that was:

1. User friendly
2. To provide an intimate family atmosphere, yet would accommodate parties of 8 to 40 without overload.
3. Appliances that could stand the test of time while providing me with an attractive environment in which to work.
4. An efficient and well-organized work and storage space, making clean-up easy for anyone using the kitchen.
5. A floor plan that tastefully united the kitchen and the adjoining room in the house.
6. A cooking environment that gives guests the opportunity to help cook or simply sit nearby and visit, allowing me to enjoy their company without having to maneuver around them while preparing a meal.

Now all I needed to do was get my totally overwhelming kitchen concept together and hand it over to you.

Working on the design and installation of my kitchen with you was a pleasure from the very beginning of the project to the end. After you prepared a design and helped me make the appropriate purchases, you continued to provide assistance.

Not only was the process of planning, designing and constructing the kitchen with you a pleasure from start to finish, but the kitchen itself is wonderful. My husband, children and I have already spent many happy hours together cooking up a storm in it. It is both beautiful to look at and easy to work in. I couldn't ask for more!

Without hesitation my family would say that the kitchen is the most lived-in space of our home. Whether its homework, after-school snacks, late-night talks or dinner parties, our kitchen is truly the heart of our new home.

We are grateful to you for giving us an environment where our family and friends can gather, creating memories we will cherish throughout our lives. From our first visit to completion, it was a creative and collaborative experience. Working with Monte was a joy as he captured our vision not only of the kitchen, but how it would integrate with the rest of the house. Choosing a contractor to come into ones home, tear it up and proceed with a remodel can be stressful at best. It is an important decision and we interviewed many contractors. Your can-do approach to my every request was the main reason I chose you and you never let me down.

Your crew was polite, efficient, considerate and cooperative in every way. They were on time, hard working with a good work ethic and addressed each concern and every change in a courteous and efficient manner. Their workmanship is extraordinary. In addition, the work started when you said it would and my kitchen was functional in time for Christmas, as you promised.
